So who still reads this? I'm thinking of maybe picking it up and dusting it off, in my copious free-time (ha!), and just continuing some level of analysis & commentary on the good, bad & ugly of online MBA programs, and online education in general.
At any rate, for the interested - not long after my last post, due to some personal circumstances (referenced in the post ;-) ...), I cranked up the job hunt, and changed employers and cities/states, to be closer to family. I'm now working for a "large consulting firm", based in Atlanta, GA.
Anyway - if you're reading any old post on the blog and have questions - feel free to drop a comment, and I'll do my best to answer!

Hey Daniel,
Count me as one of the guys that check in from time to time and I always send people to your site if they are considering an online mba. The online programs seem to grow every year and I know that Washington State University will be bringing an online MBA program online for full time students starting next fall. Glad to hear you are doing well and wish for the best with your daughter.

Hi Daniel,
I am set to begin ASU's online MBA program in January. Thank you for a FABULOUS and informative read--hearing your real-life experience with the degree has been so beneficial. I'm lucky I found this! And yes, I've read the entire blog. :)
THANK YOU tremendously for putting in the time to document your experience! All the best!

Daniel,
This is an interesting and very well written blog. I will be beginning my MBA at ASU this fall. It's reassuring that this program has graduates of your caliber. Many others are not so lucky. As with your other readers I would enjoy some honest feedback on how this online MBA is perceived by employers. You can e-mail me at Selffur222@yahoo.com. Thank-you in advance.

I just ran across this blog when I googled “asu online mba”. This is a great resource for all of us contemplating doing what you have done.
I find it interesting that about a third of the professors you talked about back in '05 don’t teach at ASU anymore. Also, ASU has now added a supply chain focus which wasn't available when you were around.
Thanks again for sharing your life with us. Good luck.
I read your post. Its interesting and nice to read. thanks.
